Last game before Irving returns

Well in some good news since the front page is still a " let us rag on this same topic" thread plethora.

Anyway though Sean Lee is out, again, and not surprising.
But maybe he is back for the Houston game along with Irving giving the D a boost even more.

Datone Jones went to the IR, but they resigned Caraun Reid to replace him. But when Irving returns, is he released or someone else.

If Lee is out 2 weeks. Then maybe, we can have our entire D healthy for the 1st time in what, 10 years.

Just need the offense to step up and do their part. This is game 4 so they must show improvement no matter what team we play.

I think he will be ready enough to get into a rotation. To start and be effective. I don't think it will be that long, maybe a few games at the most.

damn you and your freaking logic. I've seen cases where a defense starts getting mad at the offense for not being able to put up any points. I can see that happening here if things don't change. hope the hot boyz can hold it together.

Once he finally gets in shape we will be holding teams to 0 points. Then we are guaranteed a tie at least. I just can’t get over how bad our Offense is. Wasting a great year for the Defense. This team should be rolling.

Irving is unlikely to have an impact before he isn't playing again.

I predict Lee will be out at least 6 weeks. He may return in 2-4 for an attempt, but he will re-aggrevate it and miss more time. Our staff cannot figure out how to fix soft tissue injuries.

Woods will not be ET when he actually gets on the field. Remember, he was returning for the Giants game so we had no need to find a veteran stop gap for one game.

The D had been great, but let's be honest. We've played some pretty crap OLs, and the offenses we're playing know they can be uber conservative because 17 points is insurmountable for the Cowboy offense. I think that accounts for our lack of turnovers as much as anything.

Until the offense shows it can score at least 21 points, this train wreck is unlikely to improve, and could get a lot worse.

knee injury. didn't practice at all this week and will miss game against lions.

It's been said in other threads, but I think the reason the defense is not getting turnovers is because offenses are being very conservative.

They know 17 points is enough to win against this offense, so there is no need for them to take chances with the ball.

So sad. With our O-Line and RB alone we should be putting up 20+.
