Ok last mock and like all mocks most likely wrong.
Trying to gauge how much McCarthy fits into the equation for Thursday thru Saturday based on how he drafts and how the Jones draft and how McClay displays the board. McClay really does not like small school guys while McCarthy just wants athletic players and the Jones want athletic players and smart (SPARQ) players. McCarthy seems to always draft D guys in the first couple of rounds followed by WR and OL.
Also am assuming that Henderson, Simmons, Claisson, Brown and Kinlaw are off the board and a team wants to come up and get Love QB at 17.
Trade with Miami, Miami used the 18th pick to move up with Detroit and want to get a OT for their new QB. Dallas trades 17, 51, 82 to Miami for 26, 39, 70, 153, 154 and 185 (1520 vs 1523.8)
Trade again, (one no one will agree with or see coming) with Las Vegas after LV trades down with the 18th spot with Ind with Oak getting 34 and 44 for 18 and 91. Dallas trades Connor Williams OG and 3rd round comp pick in 2021 for 34 and 80.
26. Trevon Diggs CB Alabama - He has elite size for the position. Good ball hawk and good footwork. Should be able to start right away across from Awuzie.
34. Cesar Ruiz OC Michigan - A trade to get the 34 spot probably doesn't happen until the start of Day 2 but Ruiz is a guy much like Frederick who can step in and start right away. He should start right away making a battle at LG between McGovern and Looney although McGovern should win out. Drafting him make Williams expendable and Las Vegas seems like a good landing spot.
39. Michael Pittman Jr. WR USC - A big guy and great possession WR. Also extremely smart in his route running and body control. Great hands and does not drop passes. Dallas has been linked to him for a long while. Can play outside or slot and even better red zone target. Would give Dak a great read option on every play.
70. Jeremy Chinn S Southern Illinois - Sure he is a small school guy but you don't find this size, speed, athleticism growing on trees. Great tackler and not afraid to take on blockers, always hustles and could also be used as Nolan's SAM/DPR player in different situations. He would be a steal early third round.
81. Raekwon Davis DT Alabama - Has some concerns from a medical and maturity point but a guy I believe Dallas really likes. His size, speed, quickness and willingness to play to the whistle every down is to good to pass. Young guy to eventually replace McCoy and show learn well from him.
123. Jabari Zuniga DE Florida - I believe Dallas has more faith in Gregory and Smith than most and could see them waiting to draft a DE in the later rounds. Zuniga has that twitch and speed to make a great DE or SAM/DPR guy but does need the proper coaching to get there. Lots of upside if he can find his niche.
153. Leki Fotu DT Utah - Here is a guy that could rotate with Poe from Day 1 as the NT or 1tech solution. A massive individual who is very quick and shows great athleticism for his size. Needs to improve his rush ability but clogs up the middle very well. Do believe Dallas will keep at least 5 DTs with probably Hill being one and could see them parting with Crawford.
154. Thaddeus Moss TE LSU - Don't believe Jerry will pass on Randy Moss son this time around. Interesting case of a good TE with good vision, good footwork, great hands and could be a starter in a year or two. Has had some medical concerns and could be one of those stash and wait to 2021 guys.
164. Reggie Robinson II CB Tulsa - Only put him here because it seems like there is something Dallas really likes about him with several interviews. Looks like an average CB but hey so was Everson Walls so you never know.
179. James Morgan QB FIU - Would be a typical McCarthy pick. McCarthy will take a QB almost every draft and one he believes he can mode into a decent at least backup. Morgan fits the bill as he has great size and athleticism and strong arm but he does need work.
185. DeeJay Dallas RB Miami - Former high school QB, played WR and RB at Miami, willing player should compete with Churn for the 3rd RB spot.
231. Derrek Tuszka DE/LB North Dakota State - great production in college although most likely will be a 3-4 or SAM/DPR sort of guy but for the 7th round you could get very lucky.
