The announced starter won't necessarily get the most touches, Morris has played well so far this PS, He's also fitted in well and seems a good citizen. After signing as a FA and then having a high profile rookie drafted in Your position, lots of guys might've been a bit peeved, the Team could name Him as the starter as an honour and a thank You for the class He's displayed.

I thought posters here wanted Morris to start.

They really didn't. I can recall one or two guys saying that Zeke shouldn't be handed anything and that Morris should start IF Zeke wasn't showing anything in preseason - which he did in Seattle. I can't remember anyone saying that no matter how good Zeke looked Morris should start. Maybe I'm wrong.
