Last time we had a kick return without a flag?

Agreed, and it matters. We’re 32nd at starting field position! Philly is first!

1)Bad returns
2)Bad blocking
3)Whenever we DO have a nice return, a penalty flag almost always magically appears.

Well we certainly didn't need switzer and his return ability cause we have tavon sitting hurt on the bench again.

I think the NFL low key doesn't want teams returning the ball at all, it's not just us - they throw a flag on damn near every kickoff when a team tries to return it. I don't know why they won't just go ahead and get rid of the kickoff, they usto NEVER throw flags on kickoffs.

Exactly guys!! I would love for us to have success on kick returns for td's. It has become a dying trend in today's NFL.

Lmao!!! 1985 or 6

Out of morbid curiosity I did some digging...
Last Punt Return for a TD was: Ryan Switzer's 83 yard return vs the Commanders on Nov. 30th, 2017
Last Kickoff Return for a TD was: Lucky Whitehead 101 yard return vs the Rams (pre-season) on August 13th, 2016
Felix Jones 98 yard return vs the Eagles (regular season) in 2008........

Please tell me I have this wrong?

The NFL has ruined the kickoff. Barely a play anymore. They should just put the ball on the 25 at this point. Embarrassing watching the ball go into the end zone 95 pct of the time. Another game ruining decision by the NFL. Of course it is all about player safety. Let’s play Thursday games and 17 regular season games though.

The modern NFL sucks.

Switzer hasn’t done much.

3 punts for 14 yards. 4 kicks for 72 yards.

But here, that makes him look like prime Devin Hester lmao

They went cheap on special teams coaching this year and it’s showing.

Agree, its not just us but we should strive to avoid those calls it appears the coaches are not even recognizing it as an issue yet

Our special teams is definitely special! As in short bus special!!Smdh

This isn't just a Cowboy thing. That's the way it is across the NFL. It's frustrating, I agree. I'm almost at the point of thinking they should fair catch every punt and not even try and block because the odds are greater of a penalty than gaining any significant yardage with a return.

it’s sad, the game is just changing so much...such a great part of the game is going away before our eyes

he had the 1 punt return TD here but hasn't done much since. Last year he did have 19 20+ yard kick returns, but seems their ST has regressed even further this year.
