Ware got 3 sacks and JJ ran all over the Panthers...

Here's to history repeating itself.

carolinas left tackle was not very good.

The eagles have an outstanding line. I believe this is the biggest most talented line the cowboys will see all year.

I already went to that well last week. I equated that one to getting shellacked at Washington and bouncing back against the Panthers. We did that this year now with Saints/Falcons.

But ok, I can go to it again. ;)

I would like to think so. I do think Jones has talent despite the season he is having. For him to get things going even this late in the season is not out of the question in my mind.

We had three sacks against McNabb in the first meeting, and Ware had 1.5 of those.

If I'm not mistaken ,didn't we have a chance to win this game in the red zone before a certain somebody threw an INT ?

I definitely think we're a better team at this time of the year than the eagles are now.

We were 6 yards away from tying the game with 31 seconds remaining.

Well even if you're the type of person that doesnt think as highly of McNabb overall as others do, it's kinda hard to not think we have a better chance against Garcia no matter how well he might be playing since it's not like McNabbs particular skill set hasnt burned our team on more than a few occasions.

what is your point?

Most of our pressure the last time we played them was from ellis. Through the years ellis has owned runyan.

Anyway my point was that this is the best ol we play, I dont think 3 sacks for ware should be counted on. If people are expecting that they will be dissapointed.

I hope he does have 3 or more. I am just saying the ball comes out quicker with garcia because he reads short to deep, where mcnabb is always looking to go deep.

tough chore monday against that line.

That we had more success against Philadelphia's line than we have against most teams, and Ware had a lot of that success. Nobody should expect three sacks out of him in ANY game, but there's a reason to think he might be able to get at least one.

The cowboys have seen that line before.

I don't know what line you are talking about, but the one I saw against Indy for instance gave up 4 rushing TDs of 10+ yards each to a rookie. Stupid Giants didn't run against them, not that I like the Giants but I didn't want the division title to be on the line in the game on Christmas. also if you remember, Caroline almost beat them, I KNOW....ALMOST doesn't count but if Delhome doesn't throw that INT, it is second and goal and if there is no TD, it would have beena FG and it's overtime and who knows what happens after that. Also in their game aginst Washington, they won by 2 points, they barely escaped because Washington had 1st and goal on the 5 yard line and couldn't get it in. So if you want to say that the Eagles line is good check the stats before making such an absord statement.

That's completely false. If anything McNabb dinks and dunks as much as anyone in the NFL, or more.

And he certainly doesn't "always look to go deep". Not even close.

Dude, Theebs was referring to Philly's OL, not their DL.

See I dont believe that at all. West coast offenses teach qbs to read short to deep in their progressions. I believe in the last three years mcnabb has been reading deep to short and that is why He makes so many big plays. HIs first read in 04 when owens was there was the deep one most of the time and this year it has been for sure.

The more talent you have the more you can do that.

I see why you say he dinks and dunks, but I dont think he does that anymore.
