about Ahmad Brooks and what a good OLB he was. Some of the posters on this board said if he came out early he would be picked before Derrick Johnson. It is a year later and I haven't seen a post about him. What happened to him this year? Could he be our Chris Canty pick this year in the 4th round?

Ahmad plasy ILB, he was not eligible to come out last year so no way anyone said he'd be taken ahead of Derrick Johnson. In fact he had a poor year and decided to go back for his Senior year and will be in next year's draft.

You can bet there will be some "love" for him at that time.

Actually, he was eligible last year. He prepped so he'd been out of HS for three years after his sophomore season. He went back to school to work on his game. Ironically enough, he's doing it again this year because of injuries that limited him to six games. He's not the same type of LB as DJ. He's huge and as least as fast, and he could certainly play the sideline to sideline 4-3 weak-side role, but he's most effective when he's put in a position to make plays in the backfield and punch guys in the mouth. There's a lot of excitement here in C'ville surrounding his decision to return. He has all the physical gifts. If he puts it all together and returns to his freshman form, he'll be a top-five pick.
