Too bad Dak plays well at home (a lot of it influenced by playing bums though) and is mediocre on the road.

They have art exhibits on display at a "football stadium,"
It's got a giant screen display hanging above the feild. There's more eyes on that than on the feild.

That stadium should be 80% empty every home game.

They used to be.

That is, for many years after the new stadium was built, home field advantage was not a factor when it came to winning.

I did an analysis concerning home field advantage in the NFL several years ago.

I ranked teams according to the difference in winning percentage between home and away games for the first ten seasons after AT&T was built.

The Cowboys ranked dead last. Their winning percentages for home and away games were practically dead even.

In defense of those who attended the game, there was an overflow of fans from other teams who also looked upon the stadium as a tourist attraction.

If you are interested in the largest, most modern state-of-the-art sports venue, you might as well go when your favorite team is down their playing...many of them did.

I might do another analysis for the past ten seasons to see where each team is ranked. I'll post it if I have the time this month.

I kept thinking against Tampa why the hell is it so quiet while we are on D. I realize they suck but the 12th man can be real.
Our crowd cheers when the Cowboys are going for it on 4th or in the end zone. That’s what happens when you price out real fans.

I remember seeing on a documentary where Duane Thomas makes fun of our crowd. It seems to always be like that.

Then I rematch the 95 NFCCG and how loud the crowd was on Emmitt's game clinching TD run.

Yes, but honestly, when SUPER LOUD music is played the second any timeout is called, up until the ball is snapped, it completely takes the crowd out of the game. You also have to factor in the fact that a good 20-30% of those seat licenses are corporate.
The loud music would ruin it for me , I dont want any music between plays.
The nfl and owners seem to think everyone is add lol .
I cant stand tv coverage any more either, add man showing clips of things I dont want to see and barely get back to the play when ball is snapped.
I wuld like to see what is happening on sidelines and field, but they dont show any of that, instead we see a closeup of some persons face, then someone in audience, then close up of some players face lol then back to the play as ball is snapped.

But yeah dallas or arlington crowd doesnt know how to be a 12th man, and never will.
Also many times alot of opposing team fans are there and they know when to make noise.

Jerry built a mall/art galley not a stadium. Would loved to have seen an open air stadium with natural grass. I understand why he built a dome to host other events but at least play with the roof open when weather isn’t an issue.

Having 100,000 seats opens up the venue for droves of visiting team fans. Been to Cowboys games where opposing fans are openly mocking Cowboys fans. Cowboys fans at home games reminds me of Atlanta Braves fans. Lots of transplants at the game to see and be seen. Definitely lacks the blue-collar feel you get in Cleveland and Cincinnati, for example. It's unsurprising when you price out the average blue-collar family. I'd much rather watch from home.

Most stadiums are like this. The cost of tickets forces season ticket holders to sell many of their tickets.

Plus, people move to the great economy of DFW all the time. That brings millions of transplants who want to see their hometown team when they're here.
