We had already folded and lost to Giants... never sniffing division title.

This year we beat the Giants and ARE STILL in first place. That is all that matters right now.

Gloom and doom, TO this, defense this, offense this, Julius this, Carpenter this...

Like Bill said... we are in good position and there are plenty of teams that wish they were in our position.

Last year we also didn't have a LT and a rookie RT that was playing hurt.

I'm just hoping we don't lay an egg like we did at Washinton late last year. I have a feeling we win this one and look like a contender again.

And this time last year people on this board were saying the Sean Payton was an awful coach.

I think Sunday was our Washington from last year. Hopefully Atlanta is our Carolina. :D

Uh yeah... Drew was still back there. Its still Romo time.

Off thread topic and he wasnt a "COACH" last year.

I agree we are in better shape this year and I think we are a better team. But that arse-whipping by NO in December no less still doesn't sit well with me. Sham was right in his recent article: Coach Landry said teams with championship possibilities don't get hammered in December.

We could have had Montana at qb and it wouldn't have mattered.

My friend... Drew started 5 games THIS year... he was sacked often. Flo was back. So.....

Opposing defenses had time to set tables for 5 when Drew was back there.

Good comments. I agree 100%, and can't wait for Saturday when we torch DeAngelo Hall.

Actually, I believe Payton was the Asst. Head Coach/Passing game coord.

yeah i think your right, i think it was his first 2 years he was QB coach

My understanding was that last year peyton was running BP's offense, not his own, so the comments were being directed at BP's offense. Also, I am worried if this is the beginning of the December fold-up or just a "bump in the road". And I agree w/ Landry: SB contenders don't get blown away in December...

While I agree I must add the footnote of: Tom doesnt know that we played that team with TWO of our former assistants. Gibbs and Payton. If all goes well from here on out.. that will be the reason even moreso
