I know we were at home, but we had a 24-13 lead at one point.

I forget we just played this team last year. Obviously a year makes some difference and now both teams are better, but it’s still comforting to see.

Cowboys defense is especially better. Only sacked Goff once last year.

Gurley ran all over us and was a beast in the receiving game. Cooper Kupp is now hurt and they added Cooks.

They actually bottled up Zeke some, but Dak had a really solid game.

Rams defense on paper looks great now, but I think they’ve been a bit of a let down.

I see a shootout similar to last year and hopefully the scores are reversed 35-30 in favor of Dallas!

Jaylon wasn't playing at a high level
LVE was not on the team
Byron Jones was playing safety

No question these three will make this a different game for their offense.......

They should watch the Eagles/Rams game from a month ago all week. Stuff the run and get after Goff.

We had no LBs and Gurley ate us alive in the short passing game-if I recall

That’s it
On offense convert 3rd downs and get 7’s in the red zone
I expect us to hit a couple of big passes
Their CB play aggressive and that lends itself to double moves

Lee got hurt early in that game which left Jaylon exposed. We didn't have LVE, Woods (who's been awesome), Randy Gregory, Xavier Woods, and none of our young CBs were starting back then. No one can drop those long bombs like Russel Wilson, we survived him, hopefully we can keep the Goff to Cooks/Woods combo in check

You guys have some great memories! Love it! No doubt Goff will get us on a few playactions. They don’t average 30 at home for nothing. But we got to make life difficult for him most of the time. Gurley is of course better than Kamara, but it was nice seeing Smith and LVE bottle him up, so I don’t think Gurley should have the impact he had last year.

I think we’re all more worried about that play action. So pumped up to see our Dline this week! Think they know they’ve underperformed just a little when rushing the passer these last few weeks. Hopefully they get it figured out this week and destroy Goff just like they did with Brees.

Keeping Gurley in check is job 1. If our front 7 controls the LOS, we have a good chance getting key stops. Their running game fuels their passing game. If Gurley has running room, it’s going to be a long day.

I’m also hoping Garrett doesn’t play too conservative. We will probably need more than 24 to win so I hope we have some wrinkles and gadgets at certain moments. It’s the playoffs- leave it all on the field!
