The offense was horrific. The 2nd half of the season slump of the offense absolutely forebode that result against a top D.

Just as bad though was the run D. Not as bad as the Rams playoff game, but a truly awful showing.

The penalties were the cherry on top (14!!). But Garoppolo missing a wide open Aiyuk to ice the game and then throwing an awful pick mid 4th was the only reason this was a game. An F performance from the Cowboys.

A chance at redemption is in order Sunday.

I agree with you. But there are people that point to our chance near the end as evidence that it was "not that bad". I can't talk football with these people. And I hope I am wrong...but my fear is that we did not do enough this offseason to combat how physical the 49ers are on both sides of the ball

Yep, we threw everything into the first half of the season and didnt seem to adapt as opponents morphed and on offense it was evident that Dak was injured and that we stubbornly used Zeke (as RB1) regardless of his injury.

There was also our weekly Holding Party which helped kill our ability to run and Gregory's aim at being the MVP of defensive boneheaded penalties.

We also may of had the arrogance of thinking we only had to turn up......which at least last week's Bucc's game showed we are up for it.

We lost by so much more than 6! You have to have lost some rough battles in life to understand how far away we were from actually winning. I’m a glass half full kinda guy, but we got mollywhopped!!!!

Our biggest issue that game was being undiscipline. We were jsitnoutcosched. I maintained that even though they beat us we were the better team but just mentally weak and we still giving Seke the bull if Carrie’s with minimum Pollard. That changed dynamic alone is enough to turn the tide
