A lower price and the ability to chose what ever carrier I wanted to use with what ever phone I choose.

Loud places. If I go to a restaurant/bar/etc, I like to be able to have a conversation with my companions.

No idea. As long as my phone makes and receives phone calls, I'm good to go.
