Late Game Thread

Yep. Eagles will be up for next week. I'm sure they would love nothing more then to spoil the Cowboys season.
It won't spoil a thing. We would still win the division if we beat the Giants for the final game. In fact I think that beating the Eagles really only matters if you assume the Giants lose to the Jets which means we'd clinch the division. Otherwise, we pretty much have to beat the Giants anyway.

down 21-0 and still trying to run it :laugh2:

edit: wow..The Jets suck

I don't care if the Eagles win today or not.

Quite simply, I want to win with everything on the line, and given how they've given us fits over the last decade, I want to hand 'em a big time, beat down.

I disagree I still don't trust the team to go into Giant Stadium and win. We need to win next week and I think the Jets will bounce back because it's a must win game for them against the Giants.

Sanchez is horrible. Jets need to get themselves Peyton or something.

Its a must win game for the Giants, they're not going into that game with the mindset that Dallas will lose against Philly

Well I'd agree with you but you'd have to assume the Giants lose to the Jets next week for us beating the Eagles to really matter, otherwise we have to beat the Giants anyway. Not sure about the WC implications from any of this, though, too many variables right now.

He was essentially just saying that the o-line does what they are supposed to do.

Hoge was kinda negating what Tebow has done by saying it's essentially only the o-line.

Ditka was saying that the Broncos couldn't win with the other QB when he was in there....

Sounds like Ditka is just sick of people explaining away Tebow's wins....

Although it IS a team game and the o-line to me is one of the most important parts of a team.'

I actually agree with both Hoge and Ditka. Both make good points.

There's still 11 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. If they try to do nothing but pass, they have no chance. They're not a good enough passing team. Stay with your offense. If they could drive down and get a score, it's still a manageable game.

Of course, when your QB fumbles, and the other team scores off it, it really doesn't matter.

Unless there is a Lions against the Cowboys like comeback I would say the Jets game is over. We really need the Jets to win next week anyway. I still think the Eagles have to big of a hole to climb out of to win the division.

I know, I was just kidding in my first comment.

Sooo down 28-0 you still try to establish the run?

As long as Dallas beats the Giants there's nothing they can do. Frankly, if Dallas gets swept by Philly and NY they have no business winning the division. I think Dallas will take NY on the road.
