Late Game Thread

The Eagles have real coaching and that trumps anything Wentz has done. Their defensive scheme is smoothering while ours is soft.

Like Phill Simms just stated.. Coaching in the NFL matters.

Our coaching is bottom of the barrell.
It's just sick. I can't even watch our defense play.
Craven makes the game winning INT today. Giants 5th rd pick safety was flying everywhere today. Now I get to watch the Eagles D dominate with three guys we could have easily had (Cox, Logan, Hicks)....it's frustrating man. I'm frustrated how slow the process moves with this franchise. You point out that Byron Jones hasn't made a signficant play.....you're told to be patient. Wilcox hasn't developed......be patient he needs a full 4 years. Crawford is a non-factor....be patient he was injured. Wilber stinks.....be patient we'll put his hand in the dirt this year. The entire defense stinks.....be patient Zordon it takes 5 years to fix the oline then we can turn our attention to the defense. :banghead::banghead::banghead: Am I the only one who notices that the Eagles and Giants revamped BOTH sides of the football within 2 years? :banghead:

Definitely surprised by Wentz so far. I thought he'd struggle big time.

Philly has an amazing FO as well. Chip Kelly left them in a wreck and they managed to recover fantastically well. Got rid of Byron Maxwell, Demarco Murray, Kiko Alonso and flipped ol sam for a 1st and a 4th at minimum.

It will be interesting to see which Defensive Coordinator can catch up to Wentz and the play calling on Philly's O.

It's amazing nobody has thus far.

They are very vanilla and predictable. Screens, short ins and outs, play action post etc.

Teams are giving their receivers free releases and are not forcing Wentz to make many reads.

With that said. Wentz is executing as well as the team. They look legit and have played about as perfect as you can through 3 games.

Pederson is extremely impressive. It's wild just how much space it seems like they're creating just through an actual good modern offensive scheme. It seems like we're throwing to receivers with defenders draped all over them and running into a wall and here are the Eagles just slicing folks up.

That's why the bootleg play was so shocking last week.

Pederson seems to have a whole play sheet full of those.
