So tonight's game between the Packers-Lions doesn't mean anything now?

Wow. I wonder what Washington's going to do with cousins. Another franchise tag, long term deal or draft a kid and scour the FA mkt as a stop gap.
they have no choice really,QBs are hard to find.

I don't know what the spread was, but that had to suck for anyone who lost money due to that last play.

Zordon, their strength is in their secondary (with JPP out). Those years it was an all-time ferocious Dline. And a much younger, more alert Eli.
i agree their secondary is better but that last pick was caused by the pressure up the middle. also before jpp's injury, him and vernon were #1 and #2 in the league at qb pressures. then you got those two monsters in the middle that can shutdown any running game....i'm concerned brother.

He's a good quarterback, but is overly reliant on the deep ball. He's below average in the red zone, and doesn't seem great in the clutch moments. I agree they've got quite the decision. When you have a QB as good as Cousins -- top 12-15 in the league -- it's difficult to let him walk. At the same time, he's hardly good enough to truly warrant one of those $120 million contracts he's bound to receive.
