Over 11 games, Garopollo had 18 TDs and 6 turnovers....so 3:1
and a 103 QB rating.

Purdy may be able to pull that off for a couple of games, but I don't see him doing it over a 6-10 game stretch.

Just to compare, Dak has 11 TDs and 6 turnovers and a 95 rating.

Just saying, the 49ers had been getting good play from the QB position this year

The WCO is always going to inflate a QB's passer rating because it features shorter, higher percentage passes in general. Dak's QBR is much higher which tells you that Dak is doing more to help his team win. Which makes sense because Garoppolo dinks and dunks a lot more. His air yards per completion is 6.8 while Dak's is 8.2. Dak is pushing the ball much further downfield which translates to doing more for the team. None of which is to say Garappolo has been bad or anything. Well he was his first couple of starts but he got it together eventually. Dak has just been better. Dak's passer rating is being dragged down by the season opener. We all know that by season's end those will be negated as he strings more good games together.
