Late hits on Romo?

Why is everyone making such a big deal about someone like Cam Newton getting late hits all the time but there hasn't been so much as a whisper about all the late hits and dirty hits Romo has taken over the years? Romo has taken more late hits than any other three quarterbacks combined. He's not built like him at all.

Cam Newton wants to play like a FB and taunt defenses every game with his self serving antics. This boy is lucky he didnt play 20 yrs ago...he would be in a wheelchair by now. I have no sympathy for the hotdog Newton. Some defensive tough nut needs to take his head clean off.

Late/dirty hits are exactly that. Romo not getting the benefit of the calls is not an excuse for these pathetic comments about Cam.

I really don't particularly like Cam Newton, but the guy was abused and some calls should have been made. Having said that, I don't mind that they weren't.

Qbs that are tough to bring down and move around a lot are not going to get these calls as much as guys that do their 3 step drop and stand there. Its not a surprise. That display on Thursday was about as bad as it gets though.
