That's a lot of trades, but I like a lot of the picks. Chris Bonner and Deandre Smelter are a great late round selection and UDFA pickup.

That is a lot of talent. I would like that draft. Duke Johnson is not my top choice but he is a decent player.

I think Chaz Green goes before Gibson. Green looks like he could be a backup as a rookie but Gibson is much more raw.

Anderson is probably a DT here.

Glowinski and Davison would be steals.

Walker is a good pick if available that late.

For the UDFAs:
Jarvis Harrison is underrated. He definitely looks like he can play in the NFL.
Darius Allen was a terrific player on that level as a 6-2, 229 pound DE. I guess he would be a SLB project.
Tyron Chander has a chance if he can drop some weight and get serious in the weight room. Might need to move to Guard.

3 trades, one on day 2, and two on day 3......that really isn't all that unreasonable.

I have Chaz so low because of the injury concerns. The talent is there, but he just can't stay on the field.

I don't want to be offensive but your mock sucks eggs! You do know that the weak area of the team is the Defensive Line, right! Your picks would have us going 9-7. Don't do early morning mocks.

Valles has been considered a mid rounder, and looks like a poor man's Anthony Barr IMO.

actually the weakest area is our secondary. Our DL was pretty solid the entire year. Our only issue with the DL was lack of consistent pass rush off the edge, well we have Hardy now and Lawrence is coming into his own. Our secondary was not very good at all. We probably have some of the worst S play in the league. Mo stunk it up before injury. Carr was horrible for most of the season. Scandrick had a very good year, didn't play well against GB.

I am not offended by your comment, I don't get offended. But, you need to do more research into the team before you go criticizing other's mocks. We have some draftniks on this board who have a ton of knowledge about prospects, year in and year out. I tend to trust their analysis, xwalker being one.

I didn't say it was unreasonable. I said it was a lot. And I like your picks!

I don't think he was saying you said it was unreasonable. He had a double negative in his statement which negate each other. I think he agrees with you basically saying your trade scenarios are reasonable. :)

No, your post is what "sucks eggs".

The Cowboys biggest roster issue is now CB. Also, he did draft 2 DL. Just because they are not names that you've heard of, doesn't not mean they can't play.

I stand by my statement that the mock sucks eggs. Now that Hardy will be loss for 10 games the DL is number one need. Remember that the defense could not stop a one leg Roger last year and we face him again this year and he looks healthy. Last year was defense helped by the offense, this year the offense will need help from the defense which need a great DL to do that. I look for the Cowboy draft to go DL first and often. So there, take those eggs and suck them. I hope you like eggs.

Unless its you lost your QB1 for ever, don't alter your draft board the week before the draft for something temporary. If Byron Jones and Eric Rowe are available at 27 and 60 respectively, then I have a hard time believing they won't be the best picks on our board. Don't reach for lesser talent because of position unless you want Shante Carver.

My feelings on Jones are pretty well established so I hate that pick. Rowe is alright. I would have to see who else is there at that pick.

I do like your OL selections and I think you got good/realistic value in your trades.
