I know that I am a biased Auburn fan, but I would love to see the Boys sign Lutzenkirchen (TE). WHile Lutz is not fast, he has GREAT hands & is a very good blocker. He did not do much last year b/c of injuries and the Tigers had nothing resembling a decent QB.

With Hanna as a speed guy, Lutz might be a good fit as the blocking/tradtional 3rd TE.

My late pick is Dion Sims, but I really think Tyler Eifert may be the BPA at 18.

I like Lutzenwhatever. He reminds me of Cory Schlesinger who used to play for the Lions. Tough guy, good blocker, can catch the ball if he needs to. I think there is always room for a guy like that.

I still wonder if they are thinking Armstead as some kind of OT/TE hybrid. Love to see Demetrius Harris get a look as a developmental guy. My favorite TE in the draft is Kelcy though.

Left Tackles are harder to get than Tight Ends. I don't see Armstead at TE unless he does not become a starter at OT in year 1.

I don't believe there is any way Armstead can be a starter at OT in year one. He's a 3 year project IMO. He has some real issues technique wise. I don't know.

If true, then using him a TE would be a good way to get him snaps in real games and get some value from him when he is not contributing at OT.

If he is a 3 year project, then he shouldn't be a 2nd round draft pick. You should expect a 2nd round pick (non-QB) to be a starter by the beginning of year two at the latest.

Based on what I've read, I also like the big blocking TE from Alabama, Michael Williams in the 6th round.....

Williams is a very good blocker but is slower than many OLinemen. He does get open on occasion even in the Senior Bowl, possibly because defenses forget about him. I was surprised to see that he only had 11 reps on the bench.

The good thing with him is that he will probably be ready as a blocking TE on day 1.
