Guys, we all hope the Cowboys make the playoffs. But after watching the most important game of the season for them. Did you see anything different from past years to make you believe this year will be any different?

They are 8-4 at this point in the season. That is a tangible difference.

It's impossible to know how well they will play from here on out. Was the Sunday night game to Thursday game a big part of the problem or is it more than that? Nobody really knows.

Not in that one game. But over the course of the season I have. A running game. This team has handled the bad teams. I believe they will do that again against chicago. And washington. That puts us at 10 wins. Upset the Colts or eagles and we're in the playoffs.

Too early to tell. We do well the rest of the way and we can get in. Time to get hot again...

these cowboy It don't matter when it comes to playing a game that really means something they fail as they have for the last three years a game that would of given them lots of confidence going forward I just think as much as it pains me to say the eagles are the better team
and much better coached team.

Did you wach any of the previous games this year?

After a few days for it to sink in, I will almost give them a mulligan for that game. Never in history has a team played a Sunday night game on the road and then played a Thursday afternoon game. Those lost hours were a big deal, as I made a topic about it saying the league screwed us big time and it could mean trouble. Romo was off all day. He had zero prep and practice for the most part.

But, this was not the first game we have looked pretty bad. The whole month of November we have seen some bad traits. Defense now giving up 3rd conversions and letting drives continue and the offense now is not converting 3rd downs and staying on the field. And not just marginal differences. Huge swings. Those together pretty much is an extra 2 drives for our opponents, which is huge. This defense can not be on the field that long. They aren't good.

The Bears game will really tell us where we are. If we stink it up again and lose, this season is all but done.

We'll see after the Bears game, if they come out and play like they can and have all season to establish the 8 wins, anythings possible, I like to take it game by game, that may be a different Cowboy team, coming out of the Bears game to face the Eagles. It's not over yet.

The Bears game is a make or break game.
We lose this game and you can forget the playoffs.
No excuses, if we are a playoff team we win this game.
It's really as simple as that.

I'll reserve my judgement until after the Bears game. I do see why alot of people here are ready to jump ship. I don't blame them one bit....

i'm as diehard as they come.

having said that..

after watching this team as a whole play like they did on thanksgiving....it reminded me of the same old movie we all have been watching for several years now.

it would not matter if we somehow got into the playoffs or not...we would be one and done.

romo is not the second coming of christ like some of you think he is.

he's older and injured.

i feel for romo in a way though...had he had this line when he was younger...who knows what we could have done?

the main reason we will not do anything is the defense though.

the entire draft better be qb and defense only.

i never liked the lawrence pick to start with....he is simply not that good...resigning spencer was stupid as hell.

No

they were 7-5 at this point last year, surprisingly not that different

We never match up good with the Bears.............................they end our season Thursday night

At 8-4 we're in a good position to make this December a good one. The boys will come out strong Thursday night ready to prove themselves, we'll have 10 days to dissect Philly's offense, our finale at home will have us going out with a bang and nothing like sweet revenge to end the season in Washington.
