Not bad. I like Daniels in the 2nd, but do we need to trade up for an OG?

Biggest issue I have is I am not sold on Vander Esch as a MLB. Unless the team thinks Smith is really going to be a stud MLB and Vander Esch is the SAM and then backup for Lee at WILL too. But are you then getting real value at 19?

Also, not DT until the 6th round doesn't fly with me. In fact, only one DL would bug me. I think people overrate how good our DL is or can be. Plus, unless I am confusing him with someone else, isn't McIntosh more a 3 Tech than a 1 Tech?

I love it. It makes us a better football team for sure.

I question the WR though. Gallup vs Noah Brown... Is there a difference?

I'd be pleased with this.

Although I wish we could draft a DT earlier than the 6th round. Wouldn't mind trading a 2019 3rd rounder and 6th rounder this year for a 4th rounder this year to make that happen.

That 3rd round pick just about made me retch,,,I could live with a WR in the 6th if the FO deems it absolutely imperative to continue stacking up sandbags(as the alternative isn't all that appealing)

You think so? I don't know.

Noah Brown is a talented dude. He's the same size as Dez. He was only 20 years old when we drafted him and Dallas got him on the field last year in a crowded WR room.

I'm with you, I think more highly of Noah Brown than many others do.

And I think the Cowboys do as well to be honest.

No doubt he is. But Gallup has something extra. Route running is the biggest one. And hes faster. Brown has the strength and the hops.

They're both 4.5 guys.

Gallup definitely runs better routes out of college.

It's just shocking that Dallas basically created a role for a late round rookie like they did and you're hearing reports that he looks great this offseason so I don't know if Gallup is going to be worth burning a 3rd on because Noah Brown is possibly comparable.

I think many have to come to grips the team most likely won't take a high DT. I need to see it, to believe it. Figure another 6th or 7th round 1 Tech to be selected.

I'm not a big fan of trading up in this draft. I would rather stockpile second round talent than anything.

I agree with you about DT. If this front office and coaching staff continue with their stupid philosophy of waiting until late rounds to draft
DT s than it proves they still haven' t learned their lesson and probably never will. Remember how long it took for the front office to address the interior of the o line and it was only after romo became vocal about it.
