I see SD trading up for Jones WR

Trade 9th for 18th, 50th and 89th
Trade 50th and 89th and our 4th for late 1st
Trade back in the 3rd and pick up a 4th

1st Round J.J. Watt, DE/DT, Wisconsin

Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi State

2nd Round Aaron Williams, CB/FS, Texas

3rd Round Kelvin Sheppard, ILB, LSU

4th Round John Moffitt, G/C, Wisconsin

5th Round Henry Hynoski, FB, Pittsburgh

6th Round Cecil Shorts III, WR, Mount Union

7th Round Stevan Ridley, RB, LSU

Just don't see a first, second and third for 9 spots. Especially a number 50 pick. I know there are value charts, but they are like sticker price at a used car lot. You don't pay it.

I'm not sure if Watt would be available at 18 but that would be a sweet pick if he was. Everything else looks good to me. Although a FB is a big need imo

Sure you do. Look at most draft day trades, they tend to follow the value chart.

I like what you doing here on a number of fronts.

1) Working the draft to get want you want.
2) Moving down and not selecting any OL too high.

But I just don't see DE as a position we should or need to address with a top 64 pick.

Too many needs on the OL and Secondary and too many good players out there in the top 64 picks to adress them.

I'd prefer we trade down in round one to pick up an extra top 64 selection.

Then use two of those picks on offensive lineman and one on the BPA.

definitely meant not a big need...

give me my choice of OT's

18 Gabe Carimi Wis OT Wis 6-7 #315
Athony Castonzo, OT, Boston College 6-7 #311
Derek Sherrod, OT Mississippi State 6-6 #317

take who the team like best

an leave off Watt

I'd take it. Except someone tell me why Hynoski is so popular. I know he has a lot of lead in his pants but he is not an explosive lead blocker even being so heavy.

He is actually not dominant in anything he does. Sherman and Marecic are more physical at the point of attack. Clay is a better runner and receiver. Hynoski is very limited, athletically and production. I don't think he has the versatility necessary for Garrett's offense. He is certainly no Moose Johnston.
