BREAKING: Romo not calling TO by his name!

They hype it up through the commercial break like its this huge thing, and then it is just some stupid Buffalo reporter asking him a dumb question.

This just angers me. Romo hasn't done an interview since our December loss, and now all of a sudden he has disrespected TO because Romo answered a question saying 'whenever you lose a player as dominant as him" instead of 'as dominant as TO'.

Much ado about nothing. Typical ESPN Owens stuff. A lot of hype little substance. I like how he handled it actually and hope he continues to keep Romo and the Cowboys out of his mouth. I also hope Romo continues to take the same approach he displayed last week.

I think Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo and Trent Edwards are going to be Owens' paul bearers.... right into a ditch, i speak of course of the death of his problem child career.

Trent Edwards must be shaking his head at Bills management, thinking to himself "You've just set me up with a wideout that threw three pro bowl quarterbacks under the bus in the past five years, found fault with virtually every position coach he ever had, disrespected coordinators and head coaches in public, divided a trio of locker rooms and picked a verbal fight with an all pro tight end and a fiscal altercation with an all pro defensive end previously and now he's arrived with diminished skills on the downside of his career to be in the huddle with my offense, terrific!"

Anyone else think TO truly didn't care? Looked pretty genuine to me when he just laughed it off.

I don't even really like TO and I'm glad he's gone, but ESPN is just out of their minds with this stuff.

I started to watch Sportscenter because of the intro tease but gave up after 15 minutes. Looks like I didn't miss anything.

If im not mistaken, i watched an interview with edwards where he said that he was the one who brought up the idea of bringing TO in. So i doubt he feels that way.

Wink, wink, buttering up the doberman in hopes it won't turn on him...either that or he's so young and naive he has failed to pay attention to who exactly TO is and what he does to people on a human level.

Someone get mad at me again for yelling at these guys...please, please get mad at me...maybe you understand why I decided to have some fun back at them for once...

No, I think he told the truth and was amused that a reporter even picked up on that.

Well I'm glad he is in a place that will feed his delusional fantasies.

It will be healthy for him.

He seems very petty when he picks on semantics and word choice like that. I don't think Romo even realizes he was attacking TO.

If he said next question, he would have said 'hes Ignoring me', if he said the cowboys will win without TO he will say 'He is saying I am not important', if he said the cowboys wont win without TO he will say 'He is lying and being sarcastic.'

Agreed. It sounded like he was asked what he thought about Tony not using his name and he was genuinely laughing at the stupidity of the question.

I want soooooooo badly for a player to call out a reporter for asking a question...something like, "Seriously? You're seriously asking me that. Man you guys just want to create drama in the worst way dont you?"

I would love that. I'm a sports journalist major, and I hate the stupid media members that give it a bad rep.

Then you would have loved my all-time favorite coach, Bobby Knight, back in his hey day. He made a habit of calling a spade a spade. It's the main reason that most of the print media despised him. If you were a *******, he would let you and everyone else know it in a heart beat.

Just trying to provide media...
I know, but there has to something else out there to talk about. I'm trying to keep cool here, but these TO threads bring out some craziness, and I'm trying to make it at least until I start going off during the football season.

Those ManU-Barcelona highlights were good on SportsCenter today. I then turned it off...was watching on my flight...Delta has Dish network on some flights!
