I don't need to see those rankings.

I'll bet each coach is ranked according to his team's final 2022 record...plus or minus a couple spots.

Last year they had that knob Rams coach in top 2 or 3.

1 year later...I'll bet they have that same coach 15 to 20 spots lower...just because his team was less talented.

The people who make this Rankings just don't know football that well....or they're lazy.
Welp...I stand corrected. The person actually seemed to base his rankings (agree or not) based on his evaluation of each guy's coaching ability...not the previous record.

Rankings by whom? and just on earth is this? What was his/their criteria??

IMO just another garbage space filler by some "sports writer" to fill a void because of a lack of hard news. We get so many of these type "stories" this time of year. Just read the headline and know to move on to something else.

rank the coaches by their last 3 years and include playoffs and see where mike and others rank.
there would be quite a few above mike.

Watch the end of that playoff game before he was saved by the no call PI and tell me how great a coach he is. He would have owned the worst game management at the end of a playoff game in history.

He is the most overrated HC in the game and you will soon discover that in DEN.
I get it, thats your opinion. I have watched him for a long time and his creative offenses and use of personnel. He is one of the best.

Imagine having Mike McDaniel or Kevin O'Connell ranked above Mike McCarthy. Or Sean Payton, with an incredibly similar head coaching record, that much higher. Yeah, I think MM is way too far up (or down, depending on how you look at it) on that list. He deserves a much better ranking.

I'm not even trying to be a homer about it either. Just looking at it objectively.

MM 19th SeanP greatness....Make it make sense....
Both Sean Payton and Mike McCarthy won a single Super Bowl with a purported all-time great QB at the helm, Payton's single win was longer ago than McCarthy's. Why people rate Payton so much higher than McCarthy doesn't make any sense at all.

Guys. MM has had back to back 12 win seasons to start his Dallas career……all while being handcuffed to a handicap at the QB position.

With those facts in mind, MM’s job performance thus far has been borderline spectacular.
Not to mention he won 5 games without his starting QB! Outside SF no one else could do that.
