Mark Sanchez-QB- Player Apr. 24 - 8:28 pm et
The Rams have reportedly purchased a plane ticket for USC QB Mark Sanchez to travel to St. Louis on Sunday.
Nicely played. The Rams just upped the stakes in the race to acquire Sanchez and may have found a way to get themselves out of the No. 2 spot. Or maybe it's just a desperate Costanza-esque move to escalate a ploy they have no intention of following through.

Commanders owner Daniel Snyder says his team will not trade its 2010 first-round pick.
Snyder said he doesn't think it's a good idea to frequently deal No. 1 picks -- which must have been a recent epiphany. He could still trade up to No. 8 without parting with the 2010 first-rounder, but it may limit his ability to trade into the Top-5.

Derrick Burgess-DL- Raiders Apr. 24 - 7:23 pm et
The Raiders are reportedly shopping DE Derrick Burgess.
They've been shopping him since February, and now the Eagles and Patriots are believed to be interested in the contract-year pass rusher. Coming off an injury-plagued 3.5 sack season, the 31-year-old shouldn't bring much in return.

The fourth overall pick in the 2002 draft hasn't played in three years. Though he's still just 29-years-old, Williams is a long-shot to contribute next season. The Buffalo News hears he was at 410 pounds during his most recent physical.

Braylon Edwards-WR- Browns Apr. 24 - 6:01 pm et
The Giants' reluctance to pull the trigger on Braylon Edwards or Anquan Boldin reportedly has more to do with money than trade compensation.
Both receivers are looking for Larry Fitzgerald-type money at $10 million per year for four years. Neither Edwards nor Boldin is in Fitz's class as a receiver, however, which is understandably giving teams reason for pause.

The Bucs are "leaning strongly" toward selecting Kansas State QB Josh Freeman at No. 19 overall, according to a league source.
The Bucs are believed to be afraid that the Jets will take him at No. 17, which is doubtful. We wouldn't be surprised if instead Freeman dropped precipitously on Saturday.

Speaking on ESPN News, Sal Paolantonio reports that the Ravens and Eagles are the teams most interested in acquiring Anquan Boldin.
The Giants and Jets appear to be less interested, and Sal Pal neglected to mention the Titans. The Eagles reportedly offered a 2010 second, a 2009 third, and former second-round bust Winston Justice, which prompted Rod Graves' response that Boldin is likely to stay in Arizona. The Giants are said to be focusing on moving up from No. 29 to secure Darrius Heyward-Bey before the Jets pick at No. 17.
