Living in Green Bay I sit and laugh at all the local sportscasters who keep claiming that the 2025 NFL draft will be the best one in decades. Here's why it will go down as one of the worst.

1. Green Bay IS NOT like big cities with countless hotel/motel rooms available.
2. Between the number of people each team and the league send to the draft and then all of the media people there aren't enough rooms available.
3. When the 10's of thousands of fans that go to the draft every year find out that they will be driving 40 minutes to 2 1/2 hours to go to the draft because that's how far they had to go to get a room.

The only thing Green Bay has enough of is bars for everyone to go to when the draft is over each day.

When those fans all complain to the NFL for having to fly across country to then have to rent a car to drive for a couple of hours and saying what in the world made you decide to have the draft in this small town.

Again the local sportscasters continue to talk about how great the draft will be.

What are you complaining about?

You could rent ur garage out for 10 grand a night to sleep in. Maybe even offer a couple of hot Charger fan girls an upgrade to ur couch if The Price is Right?

Annnhhh....ur prob right. Nobody will pay u anything and 20,000 people will use ur front lawn as a toilet.

If you think GB is terrible, what's up with 2024 in Detroit? downtown Detroit.... What is the NFL thinking on these two?

 Guess i'll just continue watching from the front row seat on my couch...

Could be worse. Could be in Philly

Little Timmy and Sarah are going to have to share a room for a few days so that Green Bay Packers fans can get PAID AirBNB’ing out one of the kids’ bedrooms.

Yeah. I have to go to a wedding there and can't get a direct flight. So I'm driving. I don't fear flying. It's the hassle of flying and the uncomfortable seats that drives me nuts. One flight is bad enough, but two there and two back, can't do it.

I still think they should just permanently have the draft at AT&T.

From 1956 - 2014 the draft was at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Then a couple of the teams complained that they should get to have the draft so they started to take the draft on the road. There are several people from teams who actual work the draqft that have said they wish it was back at Radio City Music Hall. Also some of the announcers have also said that.

Should just be a mainstay at Radio City but the league had to even turn the draft into a circus! I watch on tv and check for updates on the computer. I just don’t get the draw. It’s a pretty boring 3 days and it takes forever. Attending the draft live.. I’ve never had any interest in that.

I wouldn't go live...but I def like watching first 3 rounds...especially 1st. Its like football christmas to me.... waiting to open that big present that you have no idea what it is.

If you don't follow the players or have a good understanding of all the draftees, I could see how it would be boring

The whole draft thing is overhyped anyways. Not sure about other teams but like the joneses it seems most stay local in their backyard so all you really see are a bunch of fans, 20 draft picks and agents.
