We did a great job being the punch line for the NFL today.

Opposing fans are laughing at us.

Other teams are probably laughing at us.

And you now what, i don't think this team is going to get angry and do anything about it. Why would they? They haven't responded to any adversity all year.

They should have been mad THIS week. They weren't. This team has some serious problems.

I was listening to Celtics after game and announcers were laughing at Dallas and Roy #11 trade - they commented on his zero catches. Get ready, this team is imploding without Romo and JJ panicking at GM.

You hit on something that has irked me for a while.

Why DOESN'T this team get angry at the media/other teams for talking crap?

It's a constant rallying cry in the New York locker room that they're not respected nationally. This team seems like it could care less when it's dumped on.

For once, it'd be nice to see a little shove-it-up-your-*** in their style of play.

We should be laugh at. We got raped by one of the worse team in the league. There too many dumb players on this team. They will never learn how to win when the chip are down.

Easy answer rainman: they don't care. They get paid either way. Sad but true.

Maybe we had our December luck early this year.

We gotta finish better and playing this bad this early puts the pressure on early instead of late.

It wasn't just Extreme Skins, it was also the other 30 teams' MBs that threw a party after we choked the Giants playoff game last year(well, except for the Chargers MB b/c of their anamosity toward Eli).

I could care less what other teams and their fan bases think of us-however, we ARE the most hated team in the NFL, and if we start to lose it, the avalanche will REALLY hit...which ends up hurting us quite a bit.

See, I was thinking that after the Cincinnati game.

Now, I'm beginning to wonder if we now ARE the December Cowboys. I'm not sure if we have any more of the September-November play left in us.

Laughed at deservingly so.

And since so many people here were pissing and moaning about the media treating Dallas with no respect...a tough pill to follow that they may have been onto something.

We're NOT the '05 Steelers, hate to say it. All of their losses that year were by a TD or less(and yes, that includes the ones where guys like Tommy Maddox were starting).

Oh I realize people hate the **** out of this team. That's fine.

And yeah we deserve to be mocked today. I'm laughing at our team today, because that was absolutely pathetic.

But like I said, it just seems like this team doesn't care that they lose or get mocked.

Bingo! right on the money.Jerry paid Flozell, is is getting nothing in return.he paid Newman, and is getting nothing.and nothing from Owens.2 to 3 catches game. nothing out of Jason garrett, who is the highest paid assistant coach in the NFL. he seems to have no clue what to do. in a way i really feel sorry for Jerry. he keeps throwing out money.and nothing is working.

I don't know what angers me more: the fact that the Cowboys are a punch line, or the fact that I care so much about the Cowboys being a punch line.

Why should I care? The team obviously doesn't.

Yet I do.

Yet all I heard throughout the week was how ESPN was picking on us and how Keyshawn was absolutely nuts to be picking the Rams over us.

Like Parcells said, we overrate this team, it's really weird.

I keep telling folks to take it one week at a time. People look at all these first round picks and big names and get seduced by it.

This team is not the 2007 New England Patriots (first half of the season) where they were going blow folks out every week, they are not that good.

I think this is the main reason this board seems to implode because people had unrealistic expectations and thought this team had already made it to the Super Bowl.

I just didn't think we would fold to the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams, granted we were missing some key players today, but we've been good at going out and taking care of these types of teams pretty handily, at least for the past 2 years

we should be struggling against the real, good teams, not against every team, every week
