I wondered about this guy when we signed him. He seems like a decent special teams player but he’s was good on defense as well ( at least what I saw on the short video).

Wow. Eric Pinkins is 6'3", 228 lbs and runs a 40 in 4.4 seconds. Add in the fact he's a veteran who played for Coach Richard in Seattle, well, he's a great pickup.

Edit: safety and LB hybrid on passing downs.

This is his 3rd year and Richard's is working with him. Hes got insane measurables, was with the Giants last year and they were just a dumpster fire.

It's an interesting signing. I've been of the thought that we'd probably keep one of these hybrid guys like Kelly and Queiro. I guess Pinkins is in the mix too.

We also got Robinson as another UDFA who's a tall/long S from Oregon. Itll be interesting to see how these guys shake out.

He has 5 career snaps on defense. All other snaps were on special teams.

He was not on a team or practice squad in 2017.
