Lawrence's last game with a full sack was November 4, 2019.
0.5 sacks in his last 10 games.
10 sacks in his last 32 games. "Hot Boy." Does that sound elite to you?

Lawrence had had 5 sacks in his last 14 games when we made him the 100 Million Dollar Man. Some of us, modesty forbids saying who, said at the time that much of his production was a mirage that had petered out and he wasn't worth elite money.
Spot on.

He’s undertalented. He’s tough and physical. He’s a great run defender. He’s a good pass rusher. He’s not able dominate double teams.

He’ll be gone next year. Players like him are the reason teams don’t want to extend guys
What are the players supposed to do? They get peanuts on their rookie deal. He should have been paid for his early career play but there’s the stupid cba. Just average out his rookie deal and his second deal and it’s not too bad. But yea zero sacks and the only thing worse then his play is the OL and LBs.

Getting paid $20 million for this. He’ll probably earn $4 million per sack by season’s end. He and Jaylon are in a competition with each other for my least liked player

Completely agree. My least favorite Cowboys are Chido, Lawrence, J Smith, LVE, and Crawford. That crew is terrible.

The only thing Lawrence has done of any note in the past year was to act like an arrogant *** and diss a kid asking for his autograph, and showed how much lack of class he has........he is still looking for his jock from Goff and the Rams running reverse bootlegs around his end of the line last week.....but he's great at taking the team's money.

His salary is guaranteed through next season. There’s a zero percent chance they keep him beyond that.

Well not zero, but if he posts another 10 total sacks over the next 2 seasons it'll be hard to justify keeping him. However, 2022 has a lot of dead cap still too so who knows. The 8 million in savings may not be worth moving on from depending on replacement options. Hopefully he gets it in gear and starts putting up some sacks though. With his contract numbers we should be able to rely on a doubt digit sack season..
