LT is too good for this...love Micah but he is nowhere near the guy I think is the best football player I have ever seen play. Not defensive player...player.

LT is too great to even have to feel threatened by any defensive player. Let the young lion live.

Taylor, who starred for the Giants 1981-83, recorded 142 sacks during a 13-year career that included a Most Valuable Player season in 1986, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, two Super Bowl rings, 10 Pro Bowls and induction into Canton in 1999.

Man, those years moved by FAST!!!
No wonder he's the greatest.

In the full interview, he calls him a special player....he didn't sound jealous, but the mediots need clicks
Coach, I disagree...and here is why...

This is what Lawrence Taylor said:

I don’t know who the best defensive player is," Taylor said in an interview before the Cowboys' 23-16 victory, "but all I know is I’m always on the last page, of the last paragraph, of the last sentence when they say ‘the greatest of all time.’ Until somebody tells me different, I own it.”

After watching an under-the-weather Parsons not record a sack but still be disruptive in Dallas' win, Taylor re-affirmed his stance.

Said LT, "He's playing pretty well ... let's see if he can keep it up for dag-on 13 years."
**************************

It certainly sounds like he's jealous or extremely guarded to make sure he's recognized as the greatest pash rusher ever. If not, why bring it up and why throw shade at Micah by saying, "let's see if he can keep it up for dag-on 13 years."

That statement reaks of jealousy and intimidation. I don't care how anyone slices it. L.T. acted like a jerk!

LT doesn't have to defend himself to anyone....he is the greatest LB I ever saw. He's had so many comparisons over the years and none could compare.

Micah has elite talent and he may be the one someday....but his carrers just starting.....let him be Micah..

No LT is right he does have to show that type of longevity, but he will (barring injury) and he will end up with more sacks than LT.

LT doesn't have to say it. Everyone knows it. He said it out of spite. Just listen to his words in quote that I listed in my previous statement. Exactly what he said.

Honestly, I really don't care what LT says.

Well, I mean, LT literally has a case to be the best football player that's ever lived.

If Micah can even get close to that he'll be considered an all-time great.

This is a passing era, not an era where they rushed against you to wear you down. They also officially banned chop blocking in 2016-2017. You also could crack back block on LTs era.

Again, completely different rules and era.
