A lot of the the talk regarding top LB prospects seems centered around Devin Lloyd and Nakobe Dean. I think an LB that’s being severely slept on is Bama’s Christian Harris.

I think he’s comparable to Dean and arguably had the more productive career.

Any idea why? Alabama prospects don't generally get slept on.

Hard to say. I feel like this season in general was quiet in terms of general hype for Alabama. Feel like the team didn’t have the normal buzz it usually has.

Harris has been productive from Day 1 as a freshman. Dean kinda of had his coming out party as a junior during a championship season.

I like Parsons/Dean way more than I like Parsons/Harris. Give me Dean 1 and Ingram 2 and I’ll be very happy. I still take Lindenbaum over Dean though.

Dudes a stud…from a size/length/speed perspective he’s right there, just don’t think he has the instincts that Dean has.

Solid 2nd round target IMO.
That’s what I’ve been hearing, he is a bit slow in mental processing, which is worrisome.

I rather wait to later to address the linebacker need, all we need to a solid 2 down Mike linebacker as we have hopefully both Cox and Kearse for the nickel

I heard Parsons was supposedly slow to process and wasn't instinctual when he came out too.

It's curious how a guy that is slow to process has literally twice as many tackles-for-loss as Dean. TFL for linebackers are generally the byproduct of being able to read, diagnose and react before others.

There were folks on this board that thought JOK, Zaven Collins, and Davis the kid Washington took were better prospects than Parsons. That was absolutely insane. Harris doesn’t quite process as quickly as Dean and is not as explosive. But Harris is a very good prospect. Certainly a 2nd round option.

On the plus side, he's fast and makes a lot of solo tackles, so that projects well for his future.

On the eyeball test, I don't think he's the kind of LB we need in Dallas. He looks excellent attacking downhill and I love how unafraid he is to engage blockers, but he's not as solid in coverage. Micah Parsons is already incomparable as an attacking LB... if we are sending Micah, we probably need the other guy covering. So I'm out on Harris in the second. Good player, but not a good fit.

What is his speed?

I'd guess 4.5s at 6'2" 230.

Depending on where he grades out in the combine, I think he may not be a bad idea for the 1st if we trade back.
