LB Eric Striker cut by Bills

Poor man's Zach Thomas. Great instincts, but poor measurables. Was a first teamer for a while with BUF this TC, but seemed miscast in a 3-4. Could be a good fit at 4-3 MLB though. Was a beast at Oklahoma. And actually has some pass rush ability if he plays OLB.

Maybe not a great physical comp, but a very good and productive college LB. which is what I meant.

Loved him at OU, but he's a one-trick pony, and there's no place in the NFL for 215-pound edge rushers. He'd get mauled in the run game. Has no coverage ability.

If we're going to compete this year, our defense is going to have to improve. Not sure if he's the guy to help that process but always seems like our FO gets too comfortable with what we already have around this time of the year. I hope we're keeping our ears to the ground on any LB or D linemen. Hitchens does not look comfortable so far.
