It seems this year the biggest thing we have to do is upgrade the contingency plans.

Tyron’s health makes LT a must unless you want to count on Byron Bell.

Lee/Hitchens future makes LB a must as we saw vs Rams/Packers/Chargers etc

No game breaking speed anywhere on offense makes that a priority.

How do you fix those in draft while getting quality at all spots?

See how the draft falls and go from there.
But I would be a tad more active in FA this year.

Considering most WRs don't blossom their first year in the league, maybe consider a mid level FA WR and still take another one day 2-3 depending on who is there. But at least we won't have to reach.

Bigger names:Allen Robinson may hit FA, considering the Jags seem to have some talent there, but a boatload of cash to spend could see him re-signed.
Could take a flier/one year prove it deal with Watkins. Similar to Jefferys or Pryor.

Lesser known: Paul Richardson. Speed for days.
Could take a flier too on Moncrief. Has the size they covert, and isn't slow.

There are a handful of backers loaded through day 1 to day 3.

But anywho, if we could get one or two knocked out with at least a decent option in FA, we can be more flexible for the draft.

there's lots of work to get done by next year

Jacksonville has Robinson and Marqise Lee hitting free agency this offseason. Hopefully, they can’t sign both. I’d like to get Lee.

WR is by far the biggest need.

to me LB is by far the biggest need, the Defense cannot function without Lee and thats a big problem.

Yup really wish bowman would have came...

I think/hope we get a legit LB starter... kick the tires on 2 middle tier prove it deal swing tackles and a WR with some speed

Always BPA going into the draft.. stack chips to win ships

Hitchens is the legit starter

I think he’s a great off the bench LB who can spot duty for lee when he inevitably goes down in the season

I thought our defense looked much better with a guy like rolando McClain In the middle who truly enforced the middle

I still think JJ has soured on FA since they command big bucks but often fail to produce, at least here.

I can see him addressing depth here and there in FA, or maybe a big strong DT if the price if right.

Out of those three it's WR for me, and I like Colorado St's Michael Gallup as a target in the draft.

I'd also place Safety and DT higher on my off-season priority list over LB and swing OT.

lol no

Forget about contingency plans

We need starters at 1T DT, MLB, safety, WR, PR/KR

Hitchens is a good starter at MLB if he can be resigned and if not they’ll roll out Jaylon.

Marinelli doesn’t value the 1T

Switzer will stay KR/PR

Not with a rookie I’d hope.
They are likely keeping Dez/TWill/Beasley so a rookie WR would be a good fit. He can provide speed and big play ability without the pressure to be the #1 immediately.

I like the idea of also adding a free agent like Allen Robinson.
