At least DQ will put a young guy in. Other regimes would wait til they were almost on social security before they would give up on "their" starter.

2 years ago, I created a thread being ecstatic the Cowboys signed Markquese Bell. I knew he would be an awesome hybrid S/LB type of player. Other posters agreed. Now we are seeing the results. Good height. Excellent speed, quickness and reaction time. Could gain a little more muscle (offseason), but so far, he has become our most productive LB so far this season.

What we need is somebody to step up for Layton vander ish because I can tell you right now I don't pay a lot of attention to #33 or linebacker Clark but he seems to be a step behind he seems to be really slow and methodical he's thinking too much he just looks slow to me.... He's starting to remind me of jaylen Smith and I'm sorry but at least jaylen Smith put up a lot of tackle numbers I haven't checked Clark's numbers but just looking at yesterday he seemed to be a step behind everyone he's not read react and hit like a missile he's just kind of lumbering around looking for where he's supposed to go...

By the way what is rashawn Evans number did he get in yesterday anybody got an update on him??
Evans was in for 7 snaps.

Bell is Balling out for sure. Eagles have a good OL and I hope he dominates them too.

He is what I thought Clark would be.
True. And more than what LVE was, and I'm not knocking LVE because I think he is better than many on this board seem to think. He just doesn't track to the ball as fast as Bell, which maybe is to be expected since Bell is a safety playing linebacker. What's impressed me about him, though, is his physicality. I was among those who thought our run defense would be hurt by putting a safety at linebacker.

Just goes to show how bad Jabril Cox was. Size wasn’t what was holding him off the active roster.

He had no choice lol. LVE and Overshown both out. I wish Quinn would sit Kearse and start Juanyeh Thomas over him. Kearse has been slow, boneheaded and I often see him jogging to the ball.
