The Linebackers will have to really fill the holes against the Giants. With Ratliff out and Sean Lissemore starting this will create the need for the LBs to be more active. Although I see improvement on the defense side - Lissemore is not an upgrade. I hope Sean really does become a elite player this year.

He already is.

What game films are you watching. I see a guy chasing and standing up after most plays.

If there's one thing I know about it's filling holes, so trust me when I say Sean Lee is already a borderline great LB.

He's probably referencing the fact that in less than 300 snaps, Lissemore had two sacks, and about thirty tackles last year, and was our "most productive D-lineman per snap".

I expect to see a lot more blitzes this year using Lee and Carter. With the outside pressure of Ware I look for Ryan to dial up some inside blitzes more so than last year.

It sounds like he was talking about Sean Lee, and you were talking about Sean Lissemore.

I thought he was talking about lissemore too. You're probably right though.

I'm not worried about Lee playing well, I'm certain he will, but Connor and Carter are whole another story.

who will spell LIssemore tomorrow night? Brent, Coleman or Spears? TIA...

They will miss Ratliff's ability to pressure the QB but Brent/Lissemore might be better against the run.
