Cox coming from ACL , and Barr hasnt even started practicing yet. But I thought our LB line up will be Micah, LVE and Cox ( in some situations Kearse )

So Barr and Gifford are backups , unless Barr beats out LVE/ Cox .

What has Cox done? Neither of the LSU backers have done anything to earn a roster spot except get drafted. If Jackson continues to make plays, he deserves to be in consideration. We all know LVE is a huge question mark.

Gifford is made from the same glass as LVE. Neither should be counted on in any way. Neither should the kids from LSU. Jackson absolutely has a shot to make the roster.

Cox actually did make plays when he was in before getting injured
But Jackson has a solid chance to make the team and it’s not like we have a bunch of LB’s waiting to play next year when we lose 2

Barr is. I certainly wouldn’t consider Cox a “good” backup. He’s untested and unproven. He has potential, but he hasn’t done squat to say he’s not replaceable (other than get drafted).

Couldn’t tell you off the top of my head, but I’m not the one arguing that. All I’m arguing is Cox hasn’t earned squat.

If you say so. I don’t know about the rest of the league in regards to non-starters. I know Dallas is extremely thin. No one knows what Barr has in the tank. LVE is glass. Cox is recovering from a major injury. Gifford is glass. It’s a position with numbers, but nothing that’s a known commodity outside of Parsons. I’d love to see a resurgent Barr though.

All I’m saying is I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Jackson make the team.
