LB's who do you like

I feel LB is a very big need for this team.
Micah is a stud but playing DE <95% of the time, Liufau seems like he is going to be good, but it's still early to put your eggs in that cart. Overshown is beast, but will he return 100%? Does Murry bring enough to the table to let the position go? Clarke is just a decent back up IMO and the rest are jags.

And TBH, I just don't see a lot to get excited about in this class so I wanted to get some outside opinions on these guys.
Which LB's do you think are good football players? Which ones are more suited to outside vs inside LBs? And which ones would be good fits for us?

I know Walker is a stud, but will he be a primary pass rusher like MP?
Campbell is a beast, but I doubt we get a chance to take him.
Who else out there can be that dominate run stopping MLB we desperately need?

I think DKnight and DStutsman are your 2 boom or bust Mikes. Walker and Campbell bring more, but will be taken earlier. I'd love to see Dallas end up with two of them if they could do some massive trading for picks.

1. Carson Schwesinger (MLB)
2. Jihad Campbell (MLB)
3. Demetrius Prince Jr. (MLB)
4. Danny Stutsman (MLB)
5. Barrett Carter (OLB)
6. Eugene Asante (OLB)
7. Teddye Buchanan (MLB)
8. Jeff Bassa (OLB)
9. Cody Simon (MLB)
10. Jackson Woodard (OLB)

Bolded are my favorite fits for Dallas, although, I like them all in some aspect.

* Granted I haven't watch like another 5 guys who could bump guys off my list.

If you want a run stuffer I think Stutsman and Knight are the best options.

Walker is bad off the ball. I wouldn’t draft him if they have intentions of playing him there.

Definitely curious on how much or little Matt E will be "banging the table" for a LB.

To me, after round 2-3 there may be a decent drop off. Could be a good value pick that scheme dependent or you're getting a Cox/Clark type LB who has some good traits but weaknesses that impact their ability to be on the field.
My favorite is Carson, but I think he's a top 45 pick now.

does Dallas go with a run stopper first in Stutsman, or do they have that now in Sanborn and Liufau?

Man I was sitting here trying to find out who Demetrius Prince Jr. is before I realized you meant Demetrius Knight.

Honestly, I've seen & graded most of the LB's ranked in the top 250 of the consensus board, and my LB big board is Jihad Campbell #1, Carson Schwesinger #2, see who is still on still on the board in the 5th round #3.

Lol, yeah thanks ,I don't know where Prunce came from. Campbell has some injury issues, so I dropped him a round, but he's truly LB1.

To me jihad Campbell is lb1 in this draft and it's not close.

I agree, but for Dallas, they need to stay away from hurt LBs. Last year, they didn't take LB Peyton Wilson who had a good year for the Steelers, and injury history probably played a part in that.

With the additions of Murray and Sanborn I think the Cowboys won't address the position until day 3. Buchanan or Cody Simon come to mind...guys who will push Clarke off the roster, special team aces, but who are pretty athletic, good tacklers and excel in pass coverage/zone.

Don’t remind me. He was my pet cat lol

I like Knight and Buchanan. But I suspect Buchanan is going to go a lot earlier than we think.

Me too and would love to get Buchanan with one of our 5th round picks but I don’t know if he will last that long

I like Cody Simon. Not sure what round he is projected to go in.
I seen all his games, as I am an OSU fan. So I am a little bias there.

What do y'all think of Martin? I know he got injured but he could be a late rd steal because of that.
