That man is still my hero and always will be he is an NFL God who represents everything good about sports and humanity .55 years ago that man became my hero.
Nothing will ever change that.
He probably wouldn't want any of those things to happen but I bet he wouldn't be heartbroken if Jerry sold the team to a true Cowboys fan that wanted nothing but to win a Super bowl. Some fans need to listen too. It's a team, not individuals. Shouldn't be finger pointing...the lessons that can be learned from this, go beyond sports. I wonder if he would hope a players plays bad, or gets injured? Wonder if he would wish Jerry would die, soon? Wonder if he would hope the Cowboys get beat bad, for any reason? Mmm?
Did he say "Dak stinks"?Some fans need to listen too. It's a team, not individuals. Shouldn't be finger pointing...the lessons that can be learned from this, go beyond sports. That's different and I'd agree with himHe probably wouldn't want any of those things to happen but I bet he wouldn't be heartbroken if Jerry sold the team to a true Cowboys fan that wanted nothing but to win a Super bowl.
Someone totally invested in winning that had his competitive spirit and loved the Cowboys as much as he did.
Nope, that was MountaineerCowboy....Did he say "Dak stinks"?
Hey Jerry, Captain America and Mr. Cowboy Speaks. Open your ears and listen. And maybe a few other current Cowboys should lend an ear as well.
1000%The BEST Cowboys QB of all time. Not even close.
Inspired me to be a Cowboys fan. This is the man that inspired me to become a football player.
Nice job teasing me with the thought lol.Years ago I worked for Morgan Stanley. A very proud, old school investment bank. It mergered with Dean Witter. A knuckle dragging brokerage firm. The DW leadership was changing the culture for the worse. A contingent of semi retired but still very powerful group of former Morgan leaders went on a public crusade to throw out the Witter clowns and save the firm. It worked and Morgan Stanley was saved and thrives today.
Staubach has the personal and financial capital to pull off a similar move. Plenty of powerful Texas money would step in as well. I think this is the only hope to cure the Jones cancer.
That thing will eventually happenNice job teasing me with the thought lol.
Although one particular thing needs to happen before it’s even a possibility.
Small problem is the Staubach is older than Jerry, although he probably treats his body a whole lot better. That thing will eventually happen
Roger is a successful and dignified guy. He must think Jerry is a flaming azz clown.Small problem is the Staubach is older than Jerry, although he probably treats his body a whole lot better.
I wonder his actual take on the Jones situation. The truth serum version, not the typical public comment.
