The previous plays were negative plays. The team in moving backwards. The 15,000 or so Cheesey fans in attendance were getting loud (BTW...it's sad to see an opposing defense waving their hands for noise in our house). Our offense is confused...at the moment.
One thing stood out on the ensuing play.
Looking into the Cowboys huddle, you see one man take full control. Romo takes the time to look into each players eyes, pointing at them and barking at them. Once I saw that, I just had that feeling that everything would be alright.
How many teams would run a draw or a screen there. No, our leader tells the offense they're going to get the 1st down. Not only get it, but a 30 yard pickup.
That was the difference in this game, and has been the difference this year. We have a leader. There's no telling what will happen the rest of this year and in the future with the leader we have in Romo. The funny thing is it's only his 2nd year starting.
