Hear (or read) me out for a second before all the knee-jerk reactions begin.

How much of a factor should leadership be within a professional sports organization, especially when discussing the Dallas Cowboys?

How much of a leader should a coach of grown adults, making millions of dollars, have to be?

Should these players have to be motivated? I believe the motivation of being a professional football player and the paycheck that comes along with it, should be all you need.

In high school and college, leaders are needed. A coach needs to be a leader AND a teacher for adolescents and young adults. Leaders demand the most out of each other. I believe leadership should be learned. That education should carry to the next level...to the NFL.

The problem is that the majority of players are spoiled in today's NFL. Everything is given to them on a silver platter AND they STILL need motivation.

The Cowboys have a problem. I know that isn't breaking news, but they, I believe, are the most spoiled team in the NFL and are in need of leadership more than anyone else.

Things came to a head in Philadelphia of all places. I really can't stand the dumbfounded looks of Wade on the sidelines. It really is embarrassing to watch. Parcells was as stubborn as they come, but there was no question who was in charge of that team. Now, the team is running amuck as individuals without a care in the world it seems.

I know the whole team isn't like this, but there is a serious problem with leadership. It shouldn't be needed, but our team needs it now more than ever. Thanks Jerry.
