League Definitely Going Towards Smaller/Athletic OL's

Anyone esle watching the Combine. These OL's are smaller and pretty fast. Seems like there are no guys from the days gone by i.e. fat boys.

I think a lot of that started when Switzer let our OL guys come in fat. Really fat.

Yeah I did notice that. This years class especially looks small.

The league may be going that way but I doubt Paecells will.

You might want to rethink this thread. what was said at the beginning was that this was the tallest and heaviest set of O linemen they have ever had.
There were only about 3 players that came in UNDER 300.

I was thinking the same thing. Many of the top guys, Ferguson, McNeil, Jean-Gilles, etc. are huge.

Ferguson isn't huge at all. He's tall.

They mentioned that Ferguson has added 14 lbs since the senior bowl= from 298 to 312. Unfortunately for him, with his shirt off you could see where about half of that was....
