He has taken a beating while the starter. He may never be 'Romo' again. Sad day.

The NFL has already said they are looking into it. If you have a problem with it go whine to Goodell.

Either way Romo's "tweak" wasn't listed on the injury report and perhaps that's the league policy.
Good reporting.

You are hereby promoted back to captain status by Hoov..

And now for some Captain Sensible

He said captain, I said Wot
He said captain, I said Wot
He said captain, I said Wot
He said captain,I said Wot you want :D

Cant get that song out of my head after hearing on radio :p

I am more fearful they would take away a draft pick. JJ is careless in his communications and it has bitten him plenty before. This is one that could really grow wings I believe. Goodell loves his pelts on the wall and Jerry is a big one. All that being said, since Garrett will return, the Garrett-led Cowboy magnetic galactic pull towards 8-8 is impervious to these kinds of things.

Not sure how they hid the injury to Tony himself, he said his back was bothering him last week.

Romo said his back, which was sore going into Sunday's comeback victory over the Washington Commanders, began to bother him after a hit in the first half.

Not sure what the league thinks is wrong, are they required to report players who might get injured?

"That triggered it a little bit," Romo said Sunday. "Whatever the kid did on that one play, it really sent something that didn't feel comfortable. But it's in a completely different spot than the back stuff I had last year, so that's a good sign."

Romo had surgery in April to remove a cyst from his back and did not take a snap until the team reached training camp in July.

Garrett said the team does not believe there is any connection from the back surgery Romo had last spring to this injury. Romo had a sore back in practice last week, but Garrett said it "never got to the point where it took him out of anything." Romo was not on the injury report.

Did Jerry extend Romo after Romo hurt his back? If so, Jerry has to be the most moronic owner ever.

Well..the whole sequence of events was brushed under the table at the time.

SoI'm going to guess Larry Lacewell told Jerrah it was all going to workout.

So here we are.

Mort was talking about this earlier, saying they didn't need to report it, since he was listed as "full participant" in practice for the entire week.

So do us all a favor and name those "careless communications" that bit the Cowboys in the ***? You said plenty. Give me and the others at least two.

Of course they would investigate the Cowboys.... The Patriots have never ever deceived the league of any injury status....ever!

I'd rather have Jerry running things.

Guys, c'mon.

I can act like a crazy old guy in front of the media. I can be the only owner in the NFL that calls in to radio stations. I can draft and sign as many TEs as we need. I'm the ultimate GM.

#Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tony Romo “really had a little of it in practice,” meaning back pain. Not listed on injury report, though.

Jerry Jones on Romo';s back: It wasn’t an injury. He just tightened up a little in the back. He had a little soreness last year.

Jerry Jones says Tony Romo had back issue all week, aggravated it but will play vs Eagles. Romo said hit triggered and in different place LY
