Leary not practicing/ Collins getting first team reps

No Wednesday practice usually means no play Sunday.

Collins is stronger, has better balance, and plays meaner than Bernie, and will learn fast; Bernie's on the downside of his career, while Collins is ^^^.

Leary may not be 100% for a while; we don't know the particulars of his groin injury.

Doesn't JJ look great now with that FA signing?

Yeah, but he didn't exactly go out on a limb. Fans of 31 other teams were crying and screaming for their teams to sign him the second the draft ended. And a good many wanted to draft him even after he said he'd sit out.

True, but Jerry is a great salesman and also a father figure for many of the players.

He had to sell Collins on becoming a Cowboy, and he nailed it down.

Meaner and stronger than Leary? I don't think so. Ask the Oline who is the baddest dude on the line and they will tell you Leary!

BB on Cowboys Break said Little Larry Allen ( Nick Name I gave LC , I'm a LC fan) his problem isn't physical its mental. if he is going to learn might as well learn on the job with the back up QB back their and not the starter by the time Romo gets back LC will have 8 games under his belt

This has to just be killing Leary on the inside. Fighting off Collins from the day we signed him and continuing to be the starter as the season began only to be watching it all slip away because of injury.

I think he knows it's his last year here too. Unless something really bad happens with Collins there's no way he doesn't start next year. You can't re-sign everyone

Collins had some awkward snaps & they brought 73 back in (perhaps by design). I think that he might have saved the game though with that fumble return tackle. Big man has some wheels.

When Collins was in I felt more comfortable then w Bernie in there. Seemed more dominating. But Leary has been doing well for years. It's nice to see we have this problem
