Least complaints pick?

The reason few complained about Martin is because so many were terrified Jethro was going to select Johnny Football.

Which pick at #26 would cause the least complaints?

RB: Not in the 1st.
TE: Don't need one.
WR: Various reasons. Too small...

DT: Only weighs 300. Need 350 pounder.
DE: Don't need.
Safety: None worth a 1st. Not a need.
LB: No off-ball in the 1st. Not a need.
OL: Cowboys use too many 1st on OL.

CB: Would anybody hate Joey Porter?

Maybe nobody's first choice but about the only player I see that might not be hated by most people.
I dont want a corner in the first. I think the least complains would be a DT.

Porter is a stud that looks to go top 15 or so.

S: Brian Branch, but he'll go top 15ish also.

Amazing how many people dont understand this. They all want WR's and more WR's.
agree. The game is still played with bullies up front. A great line opens up many options. The Eagles and Chiefs just last year for example. Maybe the 2 best lines in the league.

The Eagles beat the vaunted Niners and Hurts had 100 yards passing. LOL

The game was over in the 2nd quarter ran all over them. And all those backs they had are solid backs, but nothing special.

Pay the line, not the back.

You do know the Eagles only had one first rounder on their starting offensive line last season. The second first round pick on their line was a bust. You don’t waist a first round pick on a guard unless they have left tackle or they are a super stud Martin/Nelson. I bet most of you all don’t know the Cowboys were going to pick Shazier over Martin if Pittsburgh did not draft him in front of us. Guards can be found later.

No. Martin was a nailed on stud. Everyone knew that.
You sure forget the reactions at the time. More then a few were not happy until they were reminded of what almost happened

yep it just works.

I agree, No one would complain about Joey Porter.
Yeah one of those players you don’t pass on regardless of whether it’s a need or not.

There are several I see similar to that…
TE Washington
RBs BR and Gibbs
Jalen Carter
And a few others…
Guys you will look back and regret not taking…

As long as the player picked has a true first round grade then it will be fine...if the player has a 2nd round grade and we didn't also trade back and get an extra pick then people are going to whine

Someone falls, great grab them....everyone with a 1st round grade is gone then get some extra picks and get the best player left

Jake Moody or Chad Ryland. Everyone knows we need a kicker.

Full Opto Mode: Quentin Johnson, because everyone will realise we're going to scheme Receiver's open and that his Achilles Heel won't be exposed.
