Leatherface dies at age 68

Gunnar Hansen, made famous by his role of Leatherface in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", died at his home on Saturday, November 7, from pancreatic cancer. He was 68.

Gunnar Hansen, who played the mass murderer Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, died Saturday at his home in Maine of pancreatic cancer, The Associated Press reports. He was 68.

Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, Hansen came to the United States and majored in English and Scandinavian

That film was considered unique in filmmaking at the time. (don't laugh)
The photography very risky, and very dark.... with a very low exposure film stock

Creepy. Creepy good.

There was one of these remakes... Wasn't this leather face but there chainsaw wielding leather face that cut the guys leg off while he was running through the clothesline. Great scene.

I remember some sort of remake that Matthew McConaughey was in. It was disturbing with a chaotic comical twist. lol

He played Leatherface's grandfather in the recent "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D."

The "last girl" from the original also passed way not long ago.
