Leaving your franchise QB in the game in the final minutes of a blowout

The one player a playoff team can absolutely not afford to lose is it's "franchise" QB. Dak was a non-factor. I completely understand the OL play on the left side was atrocious (obviously), But he didn't step up when he had a chance and felt the pressure. I will say Dak is not the main issue with this team. That would be the coaching staff. Another wasted year when other teams miraculously rebuild after one season.

football 101. a qb that gets sacked 8 times is not going to be effective. In fact, go pull up a few games where a qb was lighting it up and got sacked 8 times.

Not putting a TE on his side is more baffling.
I had to listen to the second half on XM in my car with the Atlanta feed, and they could not believe Dallas kept leaving Green out there with no help. They also made several comments about the simplistic plays on both sides of the ball by Dallas.

Hey, I know my opinion is not a popular one after today's performance by the OL. But I thought there were a couple of times he could have stepped up in the pocket but he took the sack instead. Dak is a good bus driver when all the pieces are in place. But he's not your franchise.

I didn’t get to see the game.....

Did we at least:

Put a TE over there?
Chip with a back?
Run at him?
Trap him?
Screen him?
Draw his side right after a sack?

From what I’m reading.....we didn’t do much of anything. That’s on the coaches.

Dak had a historic season last year. There isn't any qb that is going to light it up when someone on the d line is having a near historic game,

That's because Dak is not a franchise QB. As it stands now with this team, RT and RB are more more important pieces than the QB. That's more concerning to me. We could have lost just the same today with Cooper Rush or Kellen Moore.

Right on point

I thought they were talking about Matty ice; not Dink and Dunk Dak

nope because that takes game planning and adjustments. our coaches have a plan and stick to it regardless. even if it fails.

then again chaz green is crap. on one play where he had help from cooper on the inside all he had to do is not get beat on the outiside. and guess what? he got beat lol
