Anyone want to give this guy a ring now that Kosier is gonna be out a few weeks.

No.

Tough to take a guy that doesn't know the system and put him on the roster. Because if you take in Bentley, that means you'll have to cut somebody since Kosier probably won't go on I-R.

You really want to chance that on a guy who also has a really bad knee?

I think the lesser of the two evils is sticking with Berger for now.

Why?

Hes done. If he had anything left he would already be on a roster.

If Bentley was anything close to his old form, the Browns wouldn't have even contemplated cutting the guy.

And you're thinking too far ahead, lets have a good December before we start booking our flights to Tampa.

If he could pass the physical, you bet. If he can't then no. He's a high risk, high reward option.

IF he could pass a physical then I'd be all for Dallas signing him possibly. I think he would potentially be an upgrade of Kosier.

The fact that he is still sitting tells the tale. Unless his demands are outrageous- which is not the rumor. I have heard that he is at least a year of rehab away from playing- if he ever will again.

He's way too high a risk for the $ he's asking for. I say no way..... we're already paying a couple of players WAY more than they're worth....

....carry on...

Isn't he still out there? He can play guard or center and would help fill in for Kosier.

I haven't heard this as a rumor, I'm just throwing it out there.

Thanks for merging..didn't see previous thread

If your leg is so bad a doctor wants to amputate it I can't see how you could ever play football again. He's lucky if he can walk correctly.

I thought he was cleared to play??

The reason Clevland cut him was because he felt he should be starting and Cleveland didn't want a high-priced back-up.

They cleared him to cut him. That doesn't mean he's ready to play.
