Report: Sean Lee will be 'out awhile' with hamstring injury

Sean Lee will, again, be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Entering the Week 3 outing against the Seattle Seahawks, the Dallas Cowboys knew they'd need their All-Pro linebacker in tow. Lee entered the 2018 season having the dark cloud of injury forever looming overhead, hoping to remain on the field for an entire season for the first time in his NFL career. Having suffered a hamstring tweak in Week 2 that was labeled by the team as "tightness", the veteran instead downplayed it and said it was nothing more than a "cramp". He'd go on to miss one practice and be limited in others before going on to take the field against the Seahawks -- looking great at the outset. Not long after, however, he was ruled out with -- you guessed it -- a hamstring injury

he'll always miss 6-8 games every year. little hammikins is a touch fragile.

Doesn't even bother me. I was actually excited about it. He was always gonna get injured and I think Leighton plays better when he's starting and getting the full reps. Thanks for everything Lee. Good luck to you and whatever it is you do later in life.

Dude needs to be standing on the sideline with a mic on. Love him but he is done.

Dude made it 1 game injury free before getting hurt again. Kudos, Lee!!!

Oh... & btw water is wet.

DAL was coming off a LONG bye week and 6 members of their inactive list were injured guys.

IR Lee and keep it moving.
He takes a pay cut in the off-season reflecting the 8 games a year he can play or he gets cut imho.

Lee and Thomas were the coverage backers to it sucks but what can ya do.
Life is unfair and people are mean. lol.

Watching RB's blow past him is a bit sad, Dion Lewis made him look like he was standing still.

Welp, it was cool seeing Chris Covington for a snap. Now, maybe LVE can settle into his role and grow w/o looking to be subbed.

Lee as a LB coach in-training sounds good.

Makes little sense to roster him moving forward as his replacement is already in house in Lve.
