Looks like a good read. I might pick it up after I'm done with the Lee Roy Jenkins' biography.

Lee Roy was such an alltime great and an under appreciated defensive piece to Landrys 70s teams.

I know Rolando was a failed experiment, but he was extremely talented.
Historically, Alabama has put excellent NFL linebackers into the league pretty consistently.

I, for one, would have preferred Foster this year for our pick in the first.

He will probably never make the HOF simply because he was unfortunate enough to play at the same time as most of the All Time Great MLBs were.
Butkus.
Lanier
Nobis
Lambert
Curtis
and there probably are a couple more I forgot
all 65-75 though Lambert played for a while longer.

Rolando was another example of someone who had it all except for personal discipline, Just like Hollywood could have been the modern basis for LBs comparison instead of Taylor but Hollywood could not control his need for junk.

LOL,,, my horseracing buddy sat next to Hollywood Henderson on a flight from San Fran to Phoenix back in the late 90's he called me up to come over and see his 8x10 black&white autographed photograph he'd gotten for free from him and talked about the Superbowl ring he was wearing:thumbup:

:lmao:it was funny.
