My mother was a Cowboys fan of the highest order. She didn't used to be, but when Jerry bought the team and fired Tom Landry, it made her so mad she decided to watch the games just so she could see them lose. But the more she watched, the more she started to root for them again, until she got darn near as rabid about the 'Boys as I am. :)
This past Tuesday, at the age of 84, my mom passed away after a long fight with leukemia. Ironically, the same illness that took Tom Landry took her. The very last time she was able to get out of her bed and sit in a wheelchair was last Sunday. She wanted us to get her up so she could watch the game with me. Her strength was almost gone, and she could barely see, but she sat there and watched the whole first half before she couldn't do it any longer and had to go back to bed. I was actually rather thankful that she didn't see the end of the game. Anyway, two days later she was gone. I just want all of you guys and gals to join me in pulling for a Cowboys victory today for my mom. I think she'll be watching.

just think, she now has the best seat in the house next to the big guy up there.

Hang in there and stay strong.

Thanks guys for all your support. Yeah, I'm pretty sure she has everybody up there tuned in to watch her Cowboys. Maybe this is the real reason the Cardinals decided to open their roof today.
