Is there anyone here that has alot of knowledge in this area or any lawyers on here? I got an important question I would like to pm.

Send a pm. I won't give you legal advice, but I will point you in the right direction.

As theogt said, I can't imagine that any lawyer is going to be willing to give actual legal advice over the internet.

I'm not a lawyer, but PM me anyway. Depending on what it is, I may be able to help point you in the right direction as well.

Good luck.

I'm not a lawyer either, but PM me because I'm curious to know what is going on.

I'm not a lawyer but I've watched A Few Good Men many times.

And you did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. ;)

You can find helpful legal advice from more than just a lawyer. I happen to be well connected to them and spent a little time studying law. In any case, depending on what it is, I can usually help people find the right guy/gal who can help them.

That, and personal experience has led me to be an aspiring lawyer, so that's worth something, right?

Really, though, I have a pretty good knowledge in terms of how jurisprudence works. That, and I know the importance of finding a good attorney within the area of practice your dealing. There are resources you can use, public records, etc., in order to find out if you have a reputable lawyer who will actually get up from his desk and go fight for you, rather than some smooth talking knucklehead who just wants your money. Your outcome of the case, situation etc., comes from two very important things. The reputation of your lawyer. This depends on many factors, such as skill, relationships, not necessarily wins vs. loss, but those are helpful (you can find this in public record, I think. I found them at UT's legal center.) Secondly, the skill of your lawyer at the time you hire him. Some lawyers are really good at certain things. Others not so much....

In any case, nice try though.

Ha, not anyone out of three combined for over 60 thousand posts on a message board. :laugh2:

Depends on the area of the question.

If it is family or divorce, ask me, I probably know the general answer even for american law, especially if it is custodial, most states have the same test we have up here.
